New Acting Chair of our UK Board

Producer and founder of Archery Pictures Kris Thykier is the new Acting Chair of our UK Board of Trustees, and we are very excited to welcome a new member into our HPF family.

Kris has already helped Human Practice Foundation with its operations in the UK and makes sure to get the word out about us to every corner of the country. We are also looking forward to him presenting himself at our next large event in London on May 26 where he will talk about his passion for helping children in need through education and introduce potential new donors to the work of HPF.

Before launching Archery Pictures, Thykier headed PeaPie Films: one of the UK’s leading independent film producers. Films produced by Thykier under the PeaPie banner include the political thriller MISS SLOANE starring Jessica Chastain; the epic love story ALI & NINO, staring Bradley Cooper; and WOMAN IN GOLD, directed by Simon Curtis and starring Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds.

Since Archery Pictures’ launch in 2014, Thykier has developed and produced the hit series FATE: THE WINX SAGA for Netflix, three series of RIVIERA for Sky Atlantic and limited series THE STATE for Channel 4 / National Geographic. Thykier also recently produced John Madden’s latest film OPERATION MINCEMEAT starring Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyan, Kelly Macdonald, Penelope Wilton and Jason Isaacs. For this film, Kris donated a charity screening before the premiere where all proceeds went to Human Practice Foundation.

Welcome, Kris – we look forward to a great partnership!
